HON. ANDREW J. WEISZ (Ret.)
Judge Weisz served as Presiding Judge of the Beverly Hills Municipal Court, 1965-1986; Justice of the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division One, 1980; Division Five, 1985-1986. He served as Commissioner of the Los Angeles Superior Court, 1962-1965; Assistant United States Attorney, 1953-1956.
EXPERIENCE AND SPECIALTIES
In private practice, Judge Weisz specialized in trial and appellate matters with emphasis on torts, professional liability, personal injury, contracts, commercial law, construction defects and landlord-tenant matters. He is presently of counsel to the law firm of Inman, Weisz & Steinberg, specializing in trial and appellate matters. Judge Weisz is active in ADR, serving as a referee, judge pro tem, arbitrator and mediator.
SPECIAL HONORS AND MEMBERSHIPS
Selected to the Beverly Hills Bar Association board of Governors; Chair of the Committee on Attorney Discipline, Competence and Ethics and the Committee on Judicial Retention Elections. Held position on Executive Board of Southern California Medical-Legal Society, 1966-1983. Served with the California Judges Association and the Los Angeles County Municipal Court Judges Association. Board Member of the Beverly Hills Business and Professional Men's Association. Lectured for the C.E.B. program, Los Angeles County Barristers, California Presiding Judges, California Conference of Judges, and other civic, educational, and professional organizations.

Author of chapter published by Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) concerning California Civil Writs (section on Certiorari). Author of articles for the Beverly Hills Bar Bulletin, book reviews for Southwestern Law Review and case notes and comments for USC Law Review.
